  • Hi poorandindenial :) sounds like just my sort of pub - sausages and mash is my favourite, real comfort food, and what a bargain! :T OH is cooking that as I type... with onion gravy (which I persuaded him to add mushrooms to..) mmmMMMMMMMMmmmmm....

I am betting yours would be nicer than theirs...

(I love sausages and mash too but was too scared of what I would get to try the ones at this place, I did order garlic bread and almost two thirds of a french stick rocked up on a plate for about 3 quid.)

  • Aww no dd, thats a pain. At least you have 1/2 days to settle in. Is the little man going to nursey? Peace and quiet tis lush. Even the cats gone wondering :rotfl:To be honest dd I havent applied for anything yet :o only because I still have a month left where I am. As I sadi in my diary I am not tgoo overly bothered if I havent got anything before january. However after will be a bit of a shock. I have enough saved to have 5 months off but I dont really want anything off but I deffo wont be going full time for a few years unless I find the perfect job :D
Yes at least this way I can always pick Elliot up early if I am missing him too much :o I am going to try not to though as I won't have a choice next week. Part of me is looking forward to it, it will be nice to drink a cup of coffee while it is still hot!

Just read your diary, I am very pleased that you're not getting stressed :T and it's SO good they asked you to revoke your notice! I know you don't want to but it shows that you are valued and appreciated and I know many people would love to be able to say that! A bit of time off might do you some good if you don't find anything for a while, I had a break from working a few years ago and it was so nice to not worry about work for a while.
  • Thanks for posting these Maz :) please tell the girls they are all looking gorgeous, and Keren's hair is fab :T

Aww bless, thats so true. I am sure you will be fine though. Just think of all the time you will have with him while you arnt in work. It will make those times ever so precious.

Yep no stressing here. In one way I do think its good they have asked me to do that but sometimes I think maybe its beacause they still havent advertised my position  I think you are so right a few weeks out of work I think will do me so good. I know it sounds daft but having to face people who knew me before I was ill is hard because I always have to put on a face. At least now i can just be me and not worry. Time will tell regarding the job situation but its not like i am not employable its just the right company finding me :rotfl:

Thanks maz for the pics

Ediot ~ Thats my evening sorted ~ volcano is on channel 4 :) easily pleased me :)
