  • Sunny in Leeds... where is the <envy> smilie? :doh:

    Looks like they're having a fab time... smashed looks like my kinda girl ;)

    How are the rest of us today then?

    OH and I took DS for a loooong drive in the car to get him (DS, not OH!) to sleep (not very MSE, is it?!) and ended up in Wallingford for lunch and a wander, and very nice it was too.

    Now tackling the mountain of laundry that has piled up while the weather has been bad (uh - weather is still bad!) and trying to get those last-minute jobs done before I start work on Monday :cry:

    Next on my list: paperwork :rolleyes: Trouble is, it is all on my desk, and the internet is so much more fun than filing...
  • skint - :T well done, 8k is great!

    <ignores own running shoes>
  • :j skint, well done on your run. Hope you ahve a great night tonight :D

    dd, hiya hun. :rotfl: @ filing. Are you back to work this week or next? cant remember :rolleyes:

    Well I am home alone ~ the first saturday in ages. My brother has gone to a mini xbox meet in london and mum is working late. So music on and cleaning/crafting in progress :j :beer:
  • Hi all

    I just thought I would pop in and see if there was any news from Leeds and there are the first photies - excelent.

    Who is that to the left of smashed, I can't see it very well but for a fleeting moment I thought it was me but then realised I wasn't there *sobs hysterically into her keyboard*

    NB London booze prices - there is a roughish (but not dangerously so) pub near me where last timeI was in there the MOST expensive bottle of wine was £6.90 and they did small medium and large meals, an example of large being 9 sausages and mash for about £7 [was a couple of years ago mind]
    £34,547 (Dec 07); Current debt: £zilch (Debt free December 2010)
    Sealed Pot #389 (2010=£133)
  • Hiya pap :wave: I am back this week :( but just half days... back 'properly' next week. I am sure I'll settle in once I get going...

    Ohhhh :T enjoy the peace, I absolutely love having the house to myself, so rare these days of course but make the most of it! How is the job search going? Hope you are nice and relaxed about things :naughty:

    Hi poorandindenial :) :wave: sounds like just my sort of pub - sausages and mash is my favourite, real comfort food, and what a bargain! :T OH is cooking that as I type... with onion gravy (which I persuaded him to add mushrooms to..) mmmMMMMMMMMmmmmm....
