Not MSE but because of the comping thread...

:j My daughter has just won a competition that was run in conjuction with our landlord (MHS Homes) to design your perfect park.
Most pleased to get a letter this morning saying "delighted to let you know your picture chosen as the winner! The judges could see that you had spent a lot of time on your drawing and were impressed that you had listed (very neatly) everything you would like in a park.
Your prize is a family (2 adults, 2 kids) to Medways biggest attractions: chatham historic dockyard, upnor castle, rochester castle, dickens world, the royal engineers museum & the kingswear paddlesteamer."
Am so proud of her, she only entered because I was MSE comping on the computer at the time and she was bored so I suggested she give it a go, she's only 9 and was close to end of school holidays (as you can imagine i was by that time trying to find anything that might amuse the kids hence the nicely written long list of items in her park :rotfl: )

Well done to your daughter! I hope you have a great time - I used to live in Rochester and the castle is lovely - it is in quite a big garden area so if the weather is nice when you go (hahahahaha) consider taking a picnic! latest win: LOTR: Moria - thanks to catz
