Barclaycard

I was trying to apply for a Barclaycard as suggested in the latest email newsletter, to get the 0% for 10 months and no balance transfer fee options.
One of the first questions that came up on the application form is whether I have an account with Barclays. As the answer was 'no', I was diverted to another page where I was offered an application for a platinum card with 0% for 10 months BUT with a clear warning that balance transfer fees would apply.
The newsletter was clear that there would be no fee if one went through the internet and stuck to the Barclaycard.co.uk site - but this warning is clear that there will be, and there's no point in my answering the question that I do have a Barclays account, because I don't. Can anyone clarify?

Thanks!
