girlfriends shoes after 6 months hurting her foot can she get refund?

She has the receipt, bought them but has hardly worn them,as was on a long holiday for 6 weeks. If I put my hand in the shoe,I'm unable to feel any rough areas although she has big blisters on three toes and was walking home the other day almost in tears.Where does she stand with this matter?(or maybe hobble in this matter)

Sorry but really don't think she has a chance of refund. They are 6mths old for a start, you say yourself there are no rough spots and she has wore them more than once from the sound of it?

And paradoxically, some womens footwear are not really designed to be walked in! Well certainly not over any length of distance anyway! Ironically we deem these type as our 'going out' shoes!!! :rotfl:

  • As Elfmay says, the shoes are apparently not defective. It's just they don't fit your girlfriend very well.
I'm a size 7 - if I bought a pair of 5s they chaffe me - resulting in some very nasty blisters.
It doesn't mean that the shoes are at fault.

I can't wear those pointy toed stilleto jobbies for this reason, my feet are wide and they are not made for pointy shoes - perhaps the style wasn't to your girlfriends foot liking - but I really don't think you have a leg to stand on! (pardon the unavoidable pun!)

  • I'd imagine it can only be because she got the wrong size. Happened to me too, never knew it could get so painfull!

You should win a Darwin award for this post!:rotfl:

  • I really can't understand why shops dont make sexy shoes nicer to wear! Mens flat shoes are full of padding and cushions, our 7inch heels are like brick inside! When will a retailer make sexy, fashionable dancing shoes with a squishy bit under your ball and soft around the edges? It can be done, and I'd pay more for them! When do us girls get to stop suffering!

Might be worth getting some of those gel pads for shoes to stop any further blisters.

The Darwin Awards salute the improvement of
the human genome by honoring those who
    accidentally remove themselves from it...
