What are you plans for the money?

When do you intend to spend some or all of it?

Are you planning to add to it?

Typcially, something like ISA 3,600 (HSBC 6.25% for example) and bang the rest in a 7%+ fixed rate for a year would be a suggestion.
  • thanks for the reply. I dont need to touch the money for atleast 2 years, i dont have any plans on adding to it at the moment. Is the HSBC Isa the best one to go for?? Any advice on which bank i should put the rest in?

    £3,600 in to 6.25% ISA.

Rest in the post office for a year at 7.05% and review it in 12 months.
