I have known Martin to include in the newsletter a recommendation of a post on this board where there was a small amount of money involved in obtaining the item. He did not say, "this was a good find but it shouldn't have been there". Good enough for Martin, good enough for other users, perhaps?0

well, speaking for myself, i browse this board looking for no spend freebies. if i wanted to look for newspaper giveaways, i'd browse the appropriate board. so yes, it's annoying when i click on something, that says it's free in the title, only to find that i have to buy something to get it. and in this case, not just something, the daily mail of all things :eek:
it's not a big deal though, but torres is right, it's in the wrong place.0 -

Handy for people who tend to buy the Mail anyway on a Saturday to be aware of the "freebie" that is coming with the paper IMO, so that they know to get the paper early and avoid disappointment of it potentially being sold out later in the day.0 -

No it is not a big deal....but i would rather have to spend a quid to get a FREE CD than have to click and get nothing...........check out the dreadful ASDA thread :eek:0 -
