Serif hard sell

A while back I obtained some software on offer from Serif. It seemed too good to be true but they explained that they had upgraded the product and were selling off the old stock.

Before I had a chance to put it on the machine I was phoned and the caller launched into the hard sell routine to try and flog me the upgrade. This was almost a year ago now and ever since they have been periodically phoning to try the hard sell. When it was once a month I ignored it. However it has become almost a daily nuisance. I now just tell them that I don't want to talk to them and put the receiver down but this is getting beyond a joke. Be warned. If you are tempted by an offer of Serif software be prepared to be bombarded by sales calls from staff trained in the art of being very charming and very persistent. They can talk for minutes without pausing for breath.

Just tell them to take your phone number off the database. When you first ordered the software you agreed to marketing calls from them. I use them, but always tell them I don't want marketing calls, and never receive them.
