Eon price protection plan - right choice?

Hi,
I switched from Atlantic to Eon price protection plan 17 back in July although the paperwork is only just coming through now. The increase in gas and electricity rates and direct debit is incredible (the latter is about double) and slightly more than the quote was when I switched. I'm now wondering if I've done the right thing. Is it best to stick with this now in case they hike their prices up again, or go back to Atlantic who are also bound to raise their rates at some point? I don't think there's a cancellation charge.
Thanks in advance.

It's all about what you feel happy with, no one can answer that for you. The forum is littered with the same question.
You paid about 14% more than the eon rate at that time to selected v17. They then increased prices for dual fuel customers by about 22% so from that point of view it was a good decision you made.0 -
Ive just posted a thread on exactly the same point because I was wondering if I should cap or fix for longer than October 09?0
