Scottish Power switching
If you're thinking of switching to SP and have a meter previously used for Economy 7 they can't cope. My present supplier, EDF, simply take both readings and to calculate total usage. My attempt to switch to their Fixed Tariff was thwarted! They also continued with the Gas transfer without asking my opinion at moving away from dual fuel supply.

edf don't charge for a meter exchange. You could get them to swap it for free and then switch. Just check with edf first in case they've changed theor poilicy.0
