does anyone know of a good site to get haynes type electronic car manuals. I have seen some of these for different models but i have none come across any for a rover 100 and a renault megane yet. So if anyone does know of the whereabouts of such items could they please give me a shout.

cheers.

  • You could try Amazon, they have a vast range of books, many out of print. Also you might be lucky on ebay.

;) yeah i have seen them in halfords and actually own a few old haynes manuals but really grudge paying £15 for them when i am only looking for something to help my friend at the weekend with. I have a few pdf manuals if anyone needs them but the only ones i have so far is for the rover 200/400 series, ford fiesta and vw golf/jetta, pug 205 and a kawasaki ZX10. If anyone has any they would like to share or would like to use one of the ones i have collected pm me.

    cheers
  • i have the renault megane one, but dont have a scanner so i cant scan it for you.

you could try your local library for borrowing it for 5 days and in that time if it happened to fall into your scanner multiple times you could have it then for about 50 p

    Hi 1982,

I hope that you don't mind, but I am going to move your thread over to the motoring board, where hopefully you will get more replies.

You can often get manuals on CD Rom on ebay. Type in the make and model of car in the saerch bar and then scroll throgh the results. I got one for my car and it is excellent. You can look at it on the PC and just run of the page(s) you need for what you are working on.

Generally you pay less than a £5 inc p&p.In fat there are some on [http=http://search.ebay.co.uk/search/search.dll?from=R40&satitle="Rover+100"] ebay[/http] now for Rover 100, but check feedback to ensure they seem ok before buying now or bidding.

Get them as greasy as you like and thow away when finished. Much better than a hard copy.
