Another Gas bill - how come?

Wondering if someone can enlighten me !

I received (and paid) a gas bill at the end of July. I've just received another one - I'm currently on quarterly billing so by my maths, my next bill is due at the end of October.

What are they playing at???? !!!! :mad:

Anyone else had this? (before I go ringing them to have a moan ! lol)

Could this be a bill at the old price for your gas if you have had an increase in gas price.

Possibly woozywendy but as far as I'm concerned, I signed up for quarterly billing and I should receive my bills every 3 months, not willy nilly and when they decide to send me one ! Irrespective of whether it's part old price and part new price, they should be putting it on my bill in October, not sending me one now !

Have tried for the last 1/2 hour to get through to them and gave up - you know the drill. Will try again later tonight and post an update here, just in case anyone else has received an 'out of sync' bill too.
