Itunes???

I have just bought the mamma mia album on CD and imported it onto my Itunes library, but instead of going on one album in one section, they have all spread out. How do I get them all one place?

    Are you sorting by album?
  • hightlight all the tracks, push cmd-I and then put in the album name and tick the box to link :)

yeah.. standard itunes sort is probably via artist name.. which is what i do things as, so compilation albums get spread around all over the place...

if you click album at the top, it will sort by album, so then all that album will be all together..

easy thing to do is make a playlist of that album, so you can listen to it!

You can right click on each track, select "Get info", go to the sorting tab, and then under "Sort artist" enter Mamma Mia. Then it will be sorted under that name as opposed to the name in the artist field. The only drawback is that you need to do it for each track individually.

...Or of course, a right mouse button click, then 'get info'! As above you may be arranging by artist, if you search for mamma mia, and highlight all the tracks from the album, and 'get info' you can then tick a box 'part of a compilation'. then you can go into the preferences and tick 'group compilations together'. or make yourself a smart (or normal) playlist.
