  • Thanks for the info, got an old Dell Pentium 4 but it's died a death, need pc for kids to play games and surf, would this be ok for graphics on games? Thanks in advance.

    The graphics are just integrated. Would be fine for basic games.. but not proper gaming, if that is what they are into. You may be able to swap the graphics card from the old PC, depends what it is.. tho this PC doesnt have the best slots for future upgrades

    You can put a PCI graphics card (NOT PCI-Express) in these machines, but the fastest probably available is an FX5500 and that's going to cost about another £50.
    This machine would be fine for playing games like the SIMS, Sid Meier's Pirates etc. but won't play 3D games like Half-Life 2 very well.
    You don't get medals for sitting in the trenches.
  • saw this advertised on dvdforums, knew better details had to be here as usual. clicking on their links earns them lots of money which they dont deserve (they banned argos the muppets because argos werent paying them!). anyway i havent clicked on their link - will stick to MSE!

    is this better than the £175 one mentioned recently on here?
