I've seen a couple of excellent reviews for that printer. I'm going to get one myself very shortly.

The laptop is rather low-spec. How much does it cost? There's a similar Acer with a 2GHz CPU (and 800MHz FSB & 4MB L2 cache) with 2GB RAM, 120GB HDD, and Vista Home Premium but otherwise identical (as far as I can tell) for £380 here:

I have an earlier model the IP4200 and it's a really good printer
I especially like the built in duplex unit for double sided printing
Ink cartridges are expensive but I've been refilling mine for the last 2 years with a Jettec R46 ink outfit with no ill effects
Alternatively you can buy compatible cartridges but you have to change the very tiny security chip to make them work

Its around £279 squid. But for the few extra pounds and better spec might be worth looking at the other one.

Is it hard to change the chip?
