16 year old and saturday job

Hi i am on income supp and incap benefit my daughter is 16 and left school and starts her Alevels for the next 2 years at college next wk. today she has just got herself a job on a saturday where she just works 4 hrs for that one day a week do i have to inform benefits of this? thanks

    I'm almost certain it doesn't affect your benefits, so long as she is in full time education, but I'm not sure if you still need to tell them or not. Instinct tells me you should inform them anyway, or I would at least.

    You are right it does not affect the OPs benefits, I dont think she needs to inform them either but I am not a 100% on that.
  • I know she could work for 24 hours a week without it affecting child tax credits(if you get them as opposed to I/S for her),tbh i doubt that 4 hours a week and what?£20 will make any difference at all to your benefits BUT its always best to check with them first.
