Please help with multi regional code for lg4710 dvd

I have tried the sites listed for codes but nothing is happening . The code message isn't appearing in the screen .

Any ideas please ?

try this

1. Power on the player with no disc in the drive.
2. Press "PAUSE" on the remote.
3. Enter "314159" on the remote(the word CODE appears on the display)
4. Enter "0" on the remote(0=All Regions, 1=Region 1, 2=Region 2, etc)
5. Press "PAUSE" on the remote.
6. Power the player off and then back on.
Note if you are having trouble getting the hack to work, try pressing "STOP" on the remote before you press "PAUSE" for the first time.

Thank you this is the one I have tried (sorry should have put that in original post ) but when I press the code the word code doesn't come up on the display

if that didnt work, try this one: This is slightly different


Multi-Region:

• Power on the player with no disk in the drive
• Wait for the "No Disc" message to appear
• Press Pause and Enter on the Remote
• Enter 3, 1, 4, 1, 5, 9 on the Remote (the word COdE or FF appears on the display)
• Enter 0 on the Remote (0 = All Regions, 1 = Region 1, 2 = Region 2, etc.)
• Press Pause on the Remote
• Power the player Off, wait 30 seconds and then power back On

If the above code fails to work then once the player has displayed the "No disc" message press Stop before entering the above code

thats very strange, are you sure its an LG 4710, cause i had this machine and definatly unlocked it that way (the first method) does it look like this??


Are you def pressing the stop button before you press the first pause (in between step 1 & 2 on the first method)

Thats def the one and yes I am doing the stop thing as well

It does come up briefly with CODE in the display but then just goes back to no disk when you press 0 for region .

Maybe the buttons on the remote aren't working ?

I know I am clutching at straws
