Being told about price rises

I'm pretty sure that when Eon raised their prices earlier this year (April?) they didn't tell me. They haven't told me yet about the latest price rise - I don't suppose they will.

Does anyone else think this is disgusting? How can they get away with this? Are other suppliers the same?

Eon increased their prices on 08 February 2008 and sent out notices to their customers that month (albeit very late in that month)

I don't know about the latest price increase.

I believe they actually have 65 working days to advise about such change.

Scottish Hydro didn't inform me in April or again last month. The have the front, though to send me a letter saying I can save money paying by DD. I phoned them up and pointed this out. If they pi55 me off any more, I'll switch. Not to anyone cheaper, just for better customer service.

Eon started send price increase letters right at the end of August in a staggered manner. Obviously with the millions of letters all utility companies send there will be some lost in the post.
