My postie

I know that RM and the Post Office get a lot of flak, but my postie really needs a big thanks.
The main water mains to 8000 homes burst just down from our house this week (we live opposite a reservoir). Even though our houses have at times been flooded or close to flooding (mine didn't thanks but the water did get up to the front door) and our street impassible to any traffic, our postie has managed to get through and deliver our mail on time, for two consecutive days. The first day he may have needed waterproofs, today he'll have had to approach the estate from a funny angle as the road is closed and we're all stuck indoors.
Thank you our postie!!!! And to any RM/PO lurkers, who should I write to in order to make sure my postie gets thanked directly? Cheers!
