Address bar in IE 7 FF

For some reason the website in my address bar disappear when I re-start the computer not all esp the web address of newspaper. It used to be handy as in the past I did not have to type the address all over again. Now it seems to have disappeared and I have to start all over again, but some address remain in the address bar like moneysaving website. Pl can somebody tell me what I need to do as I do not want the web site address to be clear afterwards. The same for Fire fox, when I used to clean with CC, all my addresses bar disappear now since I have upgraded, they remain some but not all. Thanks

The whole idea of the browsers is to BOOKMARK your favourite websites so you can just click them!:idea:0 -

OP could give Google Chrome a go by default it opens with the users 6 most visited websites.That gum you like is coming back in style.0
