Orange store - faulty own brand goods

Also this doesn't get past the fraud element even if they are branded. Eg, fraudster finds one in a bin and takes it back to the shop. Thats why proof of purchase is required. It's got nothing to do with whether the product actually came from any shop, it's to do with whether the claim is genuine.

Fair enough - I get the idea I just wasn't sure as I have worked in retail for 6 years and we used to get all the cack all the time. As far as I was told if it was faulty we had to at least exchange it. I'm annoyed with myself because I only threw the receipt away about a week ago. I'm also a bit annoyed because I know they can pull it off for me but wont. I might just go in there and ask for proof of all my previous bills. Then I will have the correct receipt
