Can't cope anymore

I can sense how you feel, everything is a demand on you no time to regroup before something else hits. When I hit breaking point I find first a good cry to get my pent up emotions out where I go into denial first off.

First is the denial, then a build up of stress that leads to mood swings and snapping at all and sundry, then I hit rock bottom and wish I could end it all to get a break and nothings fun anymore. Next is the "think about the kids" bit. Finally I head striaght to the docs who are for me wonderful. They listen (or should listen if not find a new GP). Anti ds can and do help me. They are not a sign of failure but can just lift the mood a bit to help. Also just recognising I have a problem is a relief and that I am tackling it.

You have done so well over the last few years debt wise please think of the positives. Maybe make a list of both? Yes there will be the negative stuff but you will be surprised at the postive stuff that comes up too.

    Good luck

I really do feel for you. I have followed your story for a long time, and you are one of the people I always worry about, and care for. You once commented to me when I was having a dark time, and it really did mean a lot, when you have so much on your own plate.

PLease if there is anything that I can do, I dont know what but maybe there is , please send me a Pm.

I would also try as hard as you can to stop drinking, seek help for this if you are struggling, drink is a depressant, and wil certainly impact on your mood and coping skills. Dont allow your power to be taken away by the booze- you are a fantastic person, tremendously resisiliant- and fundamental to the welfare of your family. I know you might not feel like that right now, but it is true.

    Love to you xx
 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
    This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast

Please post again to let us know you are ok. You have offered some excellent advice on these boards and are invaluable. Your achievements to date are fantastic and are not to be sniffed at.

Please call the Samaritans or visit your Dr. They are there to help in these kind of situations.

Oh I do hope you are ok. I know just what you are feeling. I have been there as many others around here have. You might not believe it right now, but you WILL be ok. You have not failed your boys, you are still here. That is the most important thing in the world for them. My parents made lots of mistakes, huge mistakes! The only one that mattered in the long run was when my dad left and didn't speak to again for 10 years. He failed me then. You are working hard for your family and doing a fantastic job of getting out of debt.

As much as you probably don't feel it, you are a strong person. You are amazing. Have a think about what you can do to feel good about yourself again. That is important. You are allowed to put yourself first.
