Hi guys
I am a student going into my second year, i have 3 bank accounts all with lloyds, a stundent account with 500 overdraft, a online saver, and a fixed 8% saver that is to end this month after two years.
I am looking to move, or open a new account or accounts.... which will give me the most benefits.
in terms of possibly a fixed term saver, or just a normal bank account such as the icelandic one on offer at moment.
as well as this i wish to know what options i have with my student accout.
any help will be much appreciated as i am a little out of my depth in terms of the rules and regulations with the setting up of many accounts.
kind regards
scott harris

Hi,
Why are you planning a move from Lloyds, and what are you looking to get from a new bank?
I've opened (savings) accounts with IceSave and Kaupthing edge and they were very straightforwards.Debbie0 -
first thing you can do scott is increase your overdraft to £1,000 interest free, Even if you dont need this you can still increase it, take out the extra £500 and put it in a savings account to gain a bit of interest on0

i am looking at the perspective of incentives for transfering bank accounts.
and the fact one student account has a 3000 pound overdraft but going into my second year i do not know if i am eligable for this.
also i have enough to invest in a good fixed saving or several accounts which offer start up incentives etc0
