Changing Supplier

Hi,
Just a quick question.
We are currently with Npower, and using the comparison sites it seems that a different Npower tarrif is the best bet.
Should/Can I go through a switching site and get my £15/Free Crate of wine. Or should I just call them up direct as Im not technically changing suppliers im just changing tariffs?
Info:
We are currently on Npowers Standard tarrif (Inherited from old tennants) no direct debit setup.
And the reccomendation we are getting is Npower "Sign Online Dual Fuel - Standard Billing"
Thanks

I think the switching sites allow you to do this but later on in the process the energy company will disallow it. I do not think anyone has reported that they have actually received the cashback/wine.
Looking at it sensibly, the energy companies pay the commission to the switching sites to get NEW customers, they are hardly likely to pay to retain an existing one on a lower tariff.0
