Hi, I might be worried about nothing but here goes:
I listed 2 tickets for a concert on ebay and I received an email asking me if I would send them to the US and if so how much would I charge.
My listing was for the UK only but I agreed to sell them to her in the US and I wouldnt charge her no extra for postage.
Anyway today I got an email telling me my item had been sold. It was the same person who bought them but under a NEW id created today!
The name of the person i am sending them to is not her... so i asked her via email to confirm the name/address and she did give me the one matched on paypal (not hers)
She had paid via paypal using her new id and emailed me asking if I could change the postage type to Airsure 4 days and put a £500 compensation on them.
I have done all this via paypal and now i have printed the paperwork i am wondering why she has asked for a £500 compensation.
The tickets sold for £130.
Does anyone else think it sounds weird or just me?
And what do i need to do with this compensation paper? just keep it?
thanks

did she have a paypal confirmed address?
you can only claim up to £130 if they get lost/damaged in the post, yes you need to keep the proof of posting and you need to get it stamped in the post office0
