Hi All,
I have a cable tv box outside my house where all the cables go into. Came home last week and somebodys kicked it, broken it and now all the cables are exposed and spilling out into the pavement.
These pose a major trip hazard as we live on a busy street. Telewest say they cant come out until next month which is no good!!!
Any ideas what i can do???

Phone the council - they should be able to put pressure on.
If they 'decline' (try to pass the buck back to you to contact Telewest) contact the local newspaper - they love 'council refuses to act to remove dangerous .....' stories.Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.0 -
Telewest have a "Cabinet & Equipment Maintenance & Complaints Team" specially set up to deal with issues like these, there number is 0870 888 3116
and select option 1, you probably spoke to someone who was unaware of the process.0
