They've taken their forums off the website now, supposedly "for upgrade" - they seemed to be working OK before judging by how many of their customers were complaining about the so-called deals!
In the probably unlikely event that I actually post something of use to someone, an ickle vote of thanks would be much appreciated, in fact I might frame it and put it up on the wall next to my cycling proficiency certificate0 -

Oooh, you cynic! I have to admit, their descriptions do leave a lot to be desired, though. I am now looking at 2 PC's - http://24gone.com/blog.php?blogdate=20081201 - bought through them (one for my father, one for my aunt) with a view to putting XP on them. Amazing that they are "as new", yet one had the chip fan exhaust port full of fluff from where it had been used. Both have dented cases (one was packaged properly, the other chucked in a handy box with a load of bubble wrap), one has it's plastic feet missing, one had the "Vista" sticker placed over the audio ports on the front - in short, not really impressed .....0 -
My Free gift was dispatched on the 21st Nov, I'm still waiting for it though I'm not too bothered as I have enough paper as it is.
I'm starting to think the whole forum being offline thing is a bit suspicious too, as it's been off longer than was stated. The whole thing doesn't give me any confidence to order from them in the future I'm afraid.0 -

SVP was a great company, i used them alot (they were close so no p&p).
the moved away so i stopped using them.
their service and customer support was second to none,WWSD(what would Scooby Doo)0 -
