    thanks. I've ruled that one out too now. I think now is the time to throw open to all. I am looking for an astra 1.7 eco4.

    One question, you are trade and you are looking to buy trade, surely if this car is in as much demand as you say, then they're going to want to retail it, not trade it on?

    lots of traders wont see it for what it is. And just see it as an 'odd' astra. At the moment there is over supply with 58 plates out so as long as a main dealer clears the trade in value it is not a problem. A main dealer will also usually have a used car scheme with restrictions on age and miles for a warrenty eg network q that the astra may fall outside of. I know they are making over book (eco4 is not in all trade books) and i am prepared for that. Every car would make more retail than trade cost. So on your basis no cars would sell or go to auction?
