Where to get coving?

I need some basic coving (single curve, nothing too fancy) but my local B & Q has a poor selection, most of which are bashed and dented.

I would quite like to order some over the internet but can't find one that's any good (screwfix does not have much to choose from).

I need to cover about 4 walls about 6 meters in total lenght.

Does anyone have any recommendations?

  • I've always found Wickes to do decent good value coving. And their adhesive is reasonable too.

Check out any local builder's merchants. They tend to stock longer lengths than the likes of B&Q do, which means you can do longer walls without having to faff about with joining midwall. They will also be cheaper.

Travis Perkins have branches all over the place, perhaps give them a phone if they're near you? They deliver too as far as I know.

I wouldn't buy online. You'll probably get some equally bashed and bruised after its delivery.
At least you can choose the un-bashed stuff in the local stores.

I find Wickes is the best for coving, 127mm, 90mm and the polystyrene stuff. These being the plain curved type.
