How can I change a Read-only file on Microsoft Word?
I've put some files onto Cd-R but when I try to work on them I can't save the changes as the error message comes up 'Read-only'.
Can anyone help.

Have you copied them back to your hard drive? You need to do this to be able to work with them.
For those you have already changed, use "Save As" and save them to your hard drive. You cannot save the changes direct to your CD0 -
you would have been better storing on a memory chip drive (cant think of the proper term... duh), that way you can edit it, transfer it to a different pcsmile --- it makes people wonder what you are up to....

Easy just copy the file from CD to the PC then right click the file,
click properties then take out the tick of "read only"
And as said before you cannot save changes directly to the file on the CD0
