i started on the 1st doing a spending diary i also going through everything this weekend and sort out what i need and what i can sell... i think my main over spend is my DD and trying to get xmas out the way which apart from one present which can wait... i know ive probably missed something so im gonna go for £200 within means im just so angry at myself for gettin this way x

hi searchin_me, you are not doing too badly really, especailly with 2 small children.
What you do not need now is more debt to worry about, so steer clear of the loans and focus on reducing your debt.

i only have one child but shes a hand full im writing out my income up until xmas and budgetin til then i will be out of debt... even if it kills me (or knackers me either one)

Your school dinners are costing you a fortune, we had to cut back and now instead of £3.60 a day for 2 school meals, I pay about 50p a day each for a packed lunch. Also our food budget for 2 fatties and 2 skinny children is about £40 a month, so maybe you could cut back there.Loving the dtd thread. x0

believe me if i could feed my daughter, me, oh and dog on £40 i would... honestly but that is a cut back i was at nearly £250 before this site x

Can you please tell me what do you shop and what do you make out of it (I mean like what kind of dinners) that you manage to spend so little on 4 people? I cannot imagine. £40 is my general trip to Tescos for weeks shopping. And we don't eat meat every day.0 -
I think they meant weekly, maybe daily with fatties lol0
