Saw these in Maplin £19, these are very small and the price includes battery pack and drop in twin charger. Over 304 channels.
Not a bad price, good gift for Xmas etc... Robert Dyas have some offers as well. I got my PMR from BT from a previous post. The BT model is bigger and more robust looking than these tiny units, but this is still worth a look.
I'd avoid PMR without batteries and charger, although these might be cheaper it is useful to have drop in chargers and batteries included in the price IYSWIM.
