  • Ditto what Amy says..re council tax. You may also get it backdated..but don't hold your breath. It is also worth contacting a debt charity..as electric and rent, council tax are essential expenditure..everything else isn't apart from food.
cccs has an online debt remedy you can fill in with template letters to send to your creditors. Why not have a look.

    Hi and welcome jimpanzee,

As a lot of your expenses are car related if you can't sell it could you do a sworn or whatever the sworn off road statement is? I think you'd need somewhere off the public highway to store it but at least you could get a refund of road tax and insurance.

I don't know what your circumstances are but is there a way you could up your income? Maybe an evening or two working in a pub or supermarket?

    Hi Jimpanzee,

Could I ask what all the loans & stuff were for? Not being nosy, just wondering if the cash went on anything you can sell. Might clear a loan or two.
