Had a visit from a Scottish Power rep the other week who offered me their joint Gas and Electricity discount package, with a special deal, "fixed till March 2011", if I signed there and then. Turns out it was too good to be true. That fixed price offer expired six months ago. The rep was being decidedly "economical with the truth". And of course, silly me, there's nothing on the paperwork about it. Don't believe anything these people say, everyone, unless you see it in writing! I've had quite a few phone calls to Scottish Power, but they're not budging.:mad:
