Managed to get Guitar Hero today :j should have been a xmas present but I think I might have to keep it!!:D

Going tomorrow to try Mario Kart, fingers crossed.

Wanted to get:

wii - Off Road
wii - Tiger Woods
DS - Imagine Girlband
DS - Guitar Hero

Came out of the Tamworth Morrisons with Wii - Off Road and DS - Cooking Guide (which I'd fancied for myself for a while and now I'm going to have to highjack my OH's or my daughters DS so I can use it... unless they buy me one of my own :rotfl: !!!!)

Just the kind of reaction I'd have expected though when I asked if they'd got the other titles I wanted "If it ain't out on the shelf, we ain't got it!"

I really want the Tiger Woods one for my OH's birthday next month so if anyone knows anywhere within a reasonable distance of the Tamworth / Burton / Lichfield / Sutton Coldfield areas...please let me know!!

Price match states online stores (listed on pc world) and stores within 30 miles of the branch you ask at, if that makes sense?

Thanks, went to my local Currys, picked up the last Mario Kart go to customer services and he rang round all the Morrisons in the 10 mile radius and apologised and said could not honour it as non in stock at Morrisons .......I could have told him that.

So will carry on trying tomorrow AGAIN.

You should have played awkward and insisted he ring round all the branches within the 30 mile radius!!

He may have given you the discount to get rid of you!

My local store is expecting a delivery tomorrow, although they couldn't guarentee what particular games will be in the delivery you might pick up what you've been after if you get there early enough

I assume other stores will be getting deliveries too.

The Barrow-In-Furness store had quite a few titles left 30 minutes ago. I did hear they get most titles in every day.

I got mario & sonic olympics and lego indianna jones.... Bargain!

I rang another Currys and it is only 10 miles (a relative works there) he said that they have had a really bad time due to this promotion, customers getting verbal etc..... but it is only 10 miles and not the 30.

To be honest Morrisons have pulled a blinder with this adverts in all national newspapers and within a day of it starting sending e-mails to all the stores saying that they have no more Mario Kart, Guitar Heroes or Tiger Woods..

Will keep trying though.....

I do feel really sorry for these store assistants getting grief from this offer...I am a bit oblivious to the newspaper ads cause I never buy a paper!

I asked at my local morrisons earlier....got told No (which I did expect!) and then walked away but I can imagine some customers have been total a*seholes!

If it weren't for this thread I would never have known about the offer - I haven't seen it advertised on tv - I thought they'd have got Denise Van Outen or someone pushing a trolley load of wii games through a field of strawberries or something to promote it!!
