I only just spotted this, popped straight down to my local store. They didn't restrict me from buying more than one of the same title (Tiger Woods 09 All Play). Although I was feeling friendly and whether the girl wanted to know or not I told her one was for my Dad and one was for my boyfriend so they can play each other online. Its the truth. Its been my intention for over a month to buy them a copy each. I'm just glad I waited :) I had the last two copies in the store. I also picked up Mario & Sonic at the Olympics and Supersmash Bros Brawl! :D We'd wanted these games for a while but the prices hadn't budged so we hadn't bought them yet!

Now I've been in touch with my mum's local store and had them put aside Guitar Hero on tour for the DS for OH's sisters birthday. £12 instead of £30 and she LOVES Guitar hero!

They'd sold out in my local store and it was the last one in my mum's local store. (30 miles away from me) Phew!

All in all a very good day!

not sure if much help but i saw review that gave it 9/10 but appears just too much fighting and no game play. a bloke was also trying to but a mario kart who said the smash was rubbish despite hype so think ill give it a miss. got the tennis one too now so that with my wii fit should keep me in check

I have been looking for this also, and ordered it yesterday from HMV £14.99 free delivery + quidco, cant wait to get it as its a fab game on the DS

Wow thanks for that, i'm glad i didn't go out and buy it from Play.com now...

Also SSB:Brawl has got one of the highest rating for any Wii game out there (also on the IGN site: http://uk.wii.ign.com/index/reviews.html?constraint.max_rows=40&ordering.order=desc&constraint.not_null.article.overall_rating=is_true&ordering.attribute=article.review_date&constraint.locale=uk&constraint.bool.game.playable_download=is_false&sort.attribute=article.overall_rating&sort.order=desc)
It's a popular franchise (it was first released for N64 i think) and it's a classic.

I just got it today, will let u know what it's like, but all these games sites can't be wrong now can they? It's basically a fighting game so it might not suit some and from what i've seen on youtube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kPpqSJ1yoY0) it's quite hectic but i hear it's good fun in multiplayer, will let u guys know once i play it. One thing they mention though is the lack of buttons on the remote means you end up having to use the plus button at the bottom even though you can change the keys around one button still ends up getting relegated.

Bomberman Land is a great multiplayer game too, i used to have Bomberman for the Playstation1 and it was great fun (here's a review: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=89bclZ_Nkes) This is also a game that's been around for a loooong time and it's a great formula that works.

Also how do you play online with the Wii? Is it free or do you have to pay? I heard you could do it but not sure how...
  • Anyone having trouble getting games from Morrisons can visit PC WORLD or CURRYS under price match agreement

Both times i just mentioned Morrisons offer on top 30? games they offered to beat it and knock another 10% off

Price match states online stores (listed on pc world) and stores within 30 miles of the branch you ask at, if that makes sense?

    13.50 a game, can't go wrong :)

I play it with my 12 yr old DD - there's a platformy/adventure game in there as well as the straight fighting. Great game IMHO.

The thread dedicated to the price match at Currys (which discussed the current prices of games in Morrisons) came to the conclusion that for the most part Currys were no longer honouring this offer when customers were mentioning the Morrisons offer.

:undecided Although from what the thread said, its dependant on the title being in stock in your local morrisons store anyway so if you can't get it in Morrisons there is every chance they'll deny you that offer in Currys.
Currys staff have been telephoning the local Morrisons store to check whether the item is in stock and for how much before honouring the offer (if they honour it at all).

You've been very fortunate if they've honoured the offer in your case :)
