No, it's not a top title and so not in the Morrisons chart and offer anyway. Have played on the DS and excellent, but not on the Wii as yet! :T

Went to my local Morrisons first thing and they had very poor selection. No Mario Kart, which is what I wanted and only the Tiger Woods Golf Game and Beach Sports!!! I asked the assistant if they'd sold out already and she just said no but they were out of stock!!! :mad:

As many have said, can't thank the original poster enough for this and well done to everyone who managed to get the games they were after.

Here's my experience this morning...

I got to my local Morrisons at 7.50 this morning expecting a queue and quite prepared to not bother and turn around and head off to work. Car park was almost empty and no one waiting for the doors to open. So thought I'd wait by the entrance and felt a bit silly but needs must. 8am the doors opened, by which time a few people had gathered. First down to the games, I managed to get seemingly the only copy of Mario Kart together with Super Smash Brawl and Mario/Sonic at the Olympics of which they had a good few copies along with everything else. Speaking to a guy who was also Mario Kart, he said that just before closing the night before they had confirmed that 10 copies of Mario Kart were in stock and was disappointed as he wanted one too. Hmmm where were the other 9. The chances of them being sold were pretty remote.

We paid for the games and went to collect them. During which time a member of staff marched up in front of us handed 2 cases to the lady issuing games and said "these are the two I wanted to reserve". Yep you guessed it one of those was Mario Kart! Funny that there definately was only 1 Mario Kart case on the shelf.

The chap who had queried the 10 in stock, asked the lady to check if there was anymore - in the drawer were 3. I had one as I'd legitimately bought it, the other was put by for that member of staff (naughty) and fortunately he got the other. No sign of the others.

So a result for us but you can't help but wonder how many other Mario Karts have not been put out on the shelves.

When you go to collect your game(s) are the cabinets they take the game(s) from the entirety of their stock? Or do they store more out the back of the shop.

Just wondering as I just bought a Tiger woods PS3 and they didn't have much left, will they be able to put more stock in the store before they get a delivery?
I was hoping to get Grid & Too Human also.

No!! Seems like finding the Mario Kart game at a Morrisons store at the moment is like finding rocking horse doo doo!

We got that game when it first came out but I was hoping to get the other game that comes with a wheel... Off Road or something? but couldn't see this either!

I think I will leave it till Wednesday now.... didn't realise there was a Morrisons in Swadlincote till reading an earlier post on here... I could always carry on up to the Burton store and look in there after!

Many many thanks to the OP.

I arrived at our local Morrisons this morning and waited two minutes for the store to open. There were only half a dozen other people waiting, but I was first to the games section. No sign of Mario Kart Wii, which I really wanted, but managed to pick up Guitar Hero ds, Tiger Woods wii and Imagine Teacher ds. I went to the checkout and the man in front had a Mario Kart wii. Thinking he may be a member of staff,not sure, I said "so thats where they all went then". He said they were being kept behind the counter and to ask the two ladies who were giving out the games. I trotted over, but they said they had just given out the last one. I went back and paid for my 3 games.Then over to the the assistants who were serving another customer who had picked up about 11 games. I spotted she had another game with the wheel and thought I might go back and get that one. After double checking that there were no more Mario Kart wiis in store, I went back and bought the Off Road Landrover Wii. When the assistant went to look for it, she couldn't find the pack, but turned up with a Mario kart Wii. So after a speedy swap got the game I wanted. Another couple behind me spotted it and managed to get one as well. So not sure how many were in this undiscovered section in the cupboard. But well happy as now sorted for games for xmas!!!
