ps3, wii, xbox, ds games on offer @ morrisons

i went first thing this morning, i got mario at olympics, indiana jones, guitar hero and smash bros..so i got xmas sorted....when they opened the stock cupboard they had quite a few wii mario karts shelved up in there, when i asked for one, she said they have alll been reserved for people!!!!....that's well annoying as this was the game i really wanted but glad i managed to get what i did anyway!

I bought just 1 game Mario kart DS.

All the others in stock as far as Icould see about two/three copies of each for all machines all top 20 so well stocked in Blackburn town store at 3pm today.

popped all the way to stockport today and picked up 3x mario kart for the wii kung fu panda, wall-e for the wii also soul calibar and call of duty 4 for the ps3. great sale this one.

Anyone know if Tamworth store has Mario kart? or somewhere around Burton/Lichfield area?

Was the game i wanted most but Burton didn't stock

And argh, gotta wait till wednesday before i can even get my Wii..

Hopefully someone gives the heads up on how long between deliveries..i'll have to phone up and reserve one if possible

thanks for this, just went down and got sims appartment pets and smcity ds which were the only ones i wanted. they had sold out of guitar hero and wouldnt tell em when more stock was coming in.

Having set the alarm early this morning to get to Morrisons, I had a (sadly rather premonition-like) dream that I got hold of a copy of Mario Kart for the Wii, and someone was trying to take it off me. I woke up clutching onto the bedpost!!

I went to the Hillsborough Sheffield store at 8am but there was none on the shelf. I spotted one behind the counter, but when I asked the member of staff she said another member of staff had reserved it for themselves. She helpfully suggested contacting the Ecclesfield store, and said Customer Services could do so for me. They did, and they had some Mario Karts in! One was reserved in my name...

However when I went to the Ecclesfield store later on, the member of staff there told me someone else had taken my copy and there was no more left!! :mad: I asked how they could have taken it when it had my name on it, and she said she hadn't written my name on it (despite asking me it over the phone) - just 'reserved for customer'. I have to say that some parts of her story didn't ring quite true and she couldn't look me in the eye, so I suspect another member of staff got it rather than a customer. I didn't get a 'sorry'. Either way, it's pretty despicable behaviour, and has left a very bad taste in my mouth all day. It's not so much the money but the principle - how can anyone think it's OK to take an item that was reserved for someone else?

Wood Green Morrisons had a bunch of titles still available, I got Smash Bros. for Wii, would have got the new Tiger Woods too but forgot my bank card d'oh!

We got off-road landrover for the wii with a wheel, which didn't last long as xmas present idea as hubby went and bought it ( i had to do school run) and decided it needed to be played today :rotfl: men, no patience!
:T and i got cooking guide for ds, well chuffed, is still £29.99 in my local game store
He also managed to pick up another 2 (hannah montana & another attached) for ds at only £12 for the pair (those ones I have managed to hide 4 xmas)
Going back tomorrow as morrisons lady said they taking two deliverys a day, and they sold out within 40 mins this morning
Hope that makes sense, have just got up (woo hoo last night shift tonight!!)
