if i had said i dont like that at home i would have been served it and made to at least try it

liver i hate but i had to eat it as a child the only thing i was excused from eating was shelfish etc but thats because it made me ill

I was a very fussy eater when I was younger (and I still don't like gristle, bone, or veins in my meat :rotfl:). I think it was due to my mum and dad trying to make me eat things that I didn't like, which was especially horrendous as my mum wasn't the most brilliant cook. The thought of half-cooked potatoes and brussels, and over-cooked mushy carrots still makes me feel queasy. :lipsrseal

My tastes have changed a lot in the last few years, and I now eat a much wider variety of foods than the rest of my family. Ironic really. And it's all down to choice: I choose what I do or don't want to eat, and I can choose to not eat something a second time if I don't want to, so I'm more adventurous. :)

lol.. Boodle.. my cousin has chooks and they now empty the egg into a mug before decanting to the pan because of the number of times they cracked open an egg and a half formed chick plopped into the pan!

They need to collect their eggs more often then ;) Even at 5 days gestation, the embryo is only tiny - it'll have needed to have been sat under a warm hen for at least a week for a recognisable chick to pop out
