Gas and Electricity Certificates

Hello

About to put my flat on the rental market and have been told that I need a gas certificate and electrical certificate prior.

Can anyone give me an approximate costings for these please!? Or inform me of anything else I may need?

    As Barnaby Bear says, this question, or variations of it, gets posted so many times there should be a sticky.

    Natty - if you do a Forum search - button up on top right of screen - you'll find plenty of other threads on these issues. My suggestion would be that you do all of your research before you even begin looking for tenants.

    Ring local CORGI and NICEIC registered folk in your area for quotes and talk to your local LL association: some have particular links with local traders who offer discounts for members.

  • Ours recently cost £60 ish for the gas and £70 ish for the electric (I think) a couple of months ago

    Thanks! Thats a lot cheaper than I thought - I was expecting 100's for each!
