wages/earnings are NOT restricted in CICs,
there is a dividend cap and asset lock, which limits the amount of profit that can be taken out of the company, which can be seen as a negative to purely commercial interests. The positive is that you have a legally recognised social enterprise. With consumer/investment trends moving toward 'empathy-consumerism' it's a clear expression of your companies objectives.
There's a lot of misunderstanding around, if you want to be a fundraiser why wouldnt you give the general public the knowledge your not only in it for the money
