Nokia N95 - sms to pc/ phone memory help

Hi all,

I've got the N95 8Gb version.
I have about 500 sms messages on there, and don't want to lose them.
I changed to using the 8Gb memory from the phone memory, but it was running really slowly, so I swapped back - but any sms received while I was on the 8Gb aren't there.
Is there any way I can move those messages back to the phone memory?
Also, I'm trying to find a way of saving my sms messages to the pc - preferably in excel like you can do with SE phones using myphone explorer.

Any help is appreciated.

Hello, have you got the Nokia PC suite? (you can download from nokia)
also you'll need to connect your phone to your computer - i've got a
Nokia type-ca-53 USB cable which I use to connect my N70 (also my 6230i) to my computer and I can use the PC suite to download the messages, from memory as a CSV or as a nokia file. Ive downloaded my sms in the past and any photos etc.

You can then load the CSV into excel.

(Dont know if you are able to or if it would work - but if you download the two 'sets' of sms as CSV then edit and merge them and then upload back to your phone)

With Nokia Data Suite, I think it can even be done over a bluetooth connection if you dont have a cable.
