Lots of hugs to Sophie's mum - when my father in law had terminal cancer a few years ago it was awful and exhausting, I really feel for you.

Will try for an NSD today - achieved
Just had free lunch and didn't buy extra pudding etc despite temptation
Did W*** Bingo last night in the hope of some cashback (didn't win anything) but hopefully still get £11 profit;)
Will aim for storecupboard tea - all had omlettes and beans and made large spag bol sauce for another day
Kids took packed lunch today kindly made by DS - he is a star! (saving nearly £4 a day
Try and persuade OH to list some things on e-bay as my paypal still not sorted (didn't do - argHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH)
Need to carry on sorting the house (hope cleaner has come a day early tho to give me a bit more motivation and make it seem more doable:o ) - oops no excuses left - made meals does that count?
I finally got to do a whole lightspeed survey - now on 330 points....hurray
Pin sentry arrived - so can finally update on line account

Thnks for the support everyone:A . We are just taking it a day at a time and trying to stay as positive as possible for my brother's sake. He is 33 but also has cerebral palsy and brain damage so cannot understand the implications of his illness. We just try to stay happy around him and keep him pain free as much as possible.
:grouphug: Hugs to anyone else who is feeling low today for whatever reason.
I have been given big bag of baking apples this morning so need to try and find time to turn them into something delicious:D Could do with a few more hours in the day:rolleyes:0 -
Sophiesmum, you are in my thoughts and prayers, as are your mother, father and brother. Merlot .x.
I only pop in and out of this thread, cause somedays I am useless with being a DFW, well I am debt free really, but money is tight so I need to regain a wee bit more control over the finances, so today:
I had a phonecall from a company who was searching for two replacements china plates which I cracked from a Dinner Service I bought from Marks and Spencers in the sale approx 6 years ago reduced from £125 to £20 (bargain), anyway they have been searching for 9 months now and couldn't get replacements, but they wanted to purchase my remaining dinner service, 4 plates and 6 bowls for £60:T , I tried to remain calm but I was jumping up and down, so they are sending the courier to collect tomorrow and the cheque will be here once they are in receipt of the goods (I have used this company before and are known and trusted). So I am delighted.
Other things I have done so far: online banking, dinner is in the slow cooker, housework, sanded and waxed the pine furniture in daughters bedroom, she has recently discovered make up:mad: and it doesn't come off unless I sand and rewax.
Thats about it.
Have a happy DFW NSD day,
