Hi,
I'm looking to buy a few tall plants for inside my house and some plants and plant pots for the garden. I don't have a car, so this makes it really hard to transport such things home as I need to use either a bus or a taxi. Does anyone know of any good value online shops I can use that deliver?
Thanks.

I have always been pleased with Crocus online and they have a sale on at the moment ! :j

I know this isn't really answering the OP but I was in the Countrywide store in Bridgend earlier in the week and they have got a good plant sale on - I got £108 worth of plants for £26! Lots of olive trees and some lovely wisterias (though these were still £22.50)
Hope this helps someone.......I only went in there for a pair of wellies for DH....which I came out without!!!!!!!comping since august 2007, wins so far.....none! :rotfl:0 -

They have some very good offers on bulbs and plants at the moment
Also keep an eye on https://www.gardenersworld.com for "free" plants, all you pay is postage. At the moment they're offering 5 lavender plants for £2.99 (the order goes through Thompson & Morgan)0 -
For the garden you will do no better than Poundland. I have bought loads of bulbs from them over the last few years, both for the garden and pots. I have some beautiful lilies which come back year after year. I planted a real novelty bought from them this spring - pineapple lilies and they have "bloomed" for months. In the spring I have a wonderful show of Gloxinia from Poundland bulbs. Well worth a look if you have a store near you and you can take them home on the bus like I do!
Whoops, for Gloxinia read tubers not bulbs!"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"0 -
I found lidl have garden stuff every now and then. I bought 20 tulip bulbs for £2 today and some liquid plant food for about £1.50 (was going to get compost but it was very heavy!).0

Take a look at Ashridge Trees - they deliver all over the UK (I think) and I know they do trees to at least 5 metres, because we bought one last year.0

Thanks for this, I was planning to get some Lavender (love the smell and thought I could make some lavender bags next summer!) so this was a great find for me. I've ordered them so just need to find some big pots to put them in!0 -
Erm you won't need very big pots to start with. If it's the same lavender offer as last year they are tiny bits of plants they send you. But I have to say they were very healthy and within a couple of months were going great guns. This year the 3 I put in the garden are huge.0
