claiming benefits after self-employment

Hi all,
I am slightly confused here.. hopefully, someone could shed light on this subject.. Basically, I was self-employed for one year but the next year financial projections are going to be a lot less mainly due to the fact I am going to go back to studying.. I am planning to claim for certain benefits but am I entitled to anything considering that I privately rent at circa £800 per calendar month? (Local housing allowance for one-bedroom flat is £675)
Thank you people...

Income Support, LHA and HB depending on your income. You'll be asked for your a brief accounts quarterly (basically a profit/loss statement) so keep up to the paperwork.0

Thanks Conor. Reading this forum I started to think that I might be entitled to working tax credit. If I do get WTC, can I still apply for HB based on my projections for the next year? I believe I cannot apply for Income Support though.. Anyway, do I make an application for WTC first?0 -
You can apply for HB but the WTC would be taken into account and hammer the HB payment accordingly.
Apply for WTC first and see where you get with that.0
