Can anyone recommend a good quality value for money hosting company. We are currently using outitgoes.com but find them too slow and problematic and we would like to be able to have some stats as well to see how much traffic our company website is getting. Thanks for any replies

I find strato-hosting.co.uk fantastic, I have been with them for nearly 3 years now and had no problems at all. Have hosted a number of pretty busy forums etc with no issues and run all my personal sies with them. The only way of finding the limits of the possible is by going beyond them into the impossible.

I currently with Hostmonster.com and have found them to be really good. I googled around and found a link that gave 1 yrs hosting for $4.95 a month. With that you get a free .com (may not be of use to you), unlimited space/bandwidth and they also have a very good bit of software showing your site's stats.
"The Hosting chart" lists other well known webhosts. I should add i've not had any problems with using a US web host and there has always been someone online with hostmonster's technical help chat.
Hope this helps you on your way.0 -
We have a couple of domains registered via 1 & 1 but all of the hosting is now done by RelicHost.

From my experience Web host stats can often be quite basic. Perhaps think about installing google analytics into the site. The reports that are then available are easy to understand but full of data for you to explore.

Try geekdata.co.uk or a2b2.co.uk or one.com, all are quite well priced.
I know geekdata and a2b2 are UK based, not sure about one.com though.
Also know geekdata uses gzip on all the accounts which basicly halfs the loading time.0 -
Always been very happy with www.clook.co.uk for their shared and dedicated servers. They're not super-cheap, but they have excellent support and a rock-solid network infrastructure."In all affairs it's a healthy thing now and then to hang a question mark on the things you have long taken for granted." - Bertrand Russell0

https://www.catalyst2.co.uk are excellent, top notch service and offerings. Plus they are a decent bunch of chaps also.
