Then if you have fruit and perhaps HM yoghurt for breakfasts or puddings, eggs whenever the ladies oblige and porridge, I estimate you have in three meals a day, plus snacks, for the coming months. All you seem to need is perishables such as milk.
My DDs love cooked rice mixed with chopped up tomatoes, cucumber and lettuce. You could roast butternut squash/courgettes with cumin or thyme and do the same. The same works with couscous or quinoa. If you really cannot abide the quinoa when you do try it, I see no reason why the chooks shouldn't get it for dinner!
4 loo rolls at £2 should last a week (so £8 for month), say 16pts of milk at 99p/4pts = £4 (£16 for month), butter £1 X 2 (freeze in 1/2 oz slices and then it doesn't get wasted - oh, and grate your cheese finely and put that in the freezer too, you only end up taking a pinch out at a time then), toothpaste £2 for month with posh brand, £4 for a sack of spuds, £3 for a sack of carrots, 60p for bottle of stardrops, £1 for bag of washing soda, £2 for pack of tampax/towels, £2 for big bar of chocolate, £1.20 for huge multipack of basics crisps (see, I am human after all), £1 for shower gel/shampoo
That's only about £45 for the whole month, thus saving somewhere in the region of £160 from your estimated budget for 2 months.

You would be wanting size 3's/ large /toddlers then, how far along with potty training are you?
My ds is 2 1/2 and getting there slowly but dd was nearly 3 1/2 when she started though, its tough especially the price of size 6 nappies! We did cloth with ds from the start.
What signs is he displaying? none :rotfl:
Will he willingly wee in the potty if he has nothing to pull down? Nope! screams the house down!
Where do you keep the potty? In the living room
How many have you got? Just the one
Does he have bigboy pants? Did he pick these? No - should look into this really...
Do you have a potty next to the toilet so he can copy you? No - again, something i could look into
Does he have his own special bum wipes and hand wash (its a gimmicky thing but can get them from the £ shop) ? Ooops! That'll be a no again :rotfl:
When he had his 2.5yr check in may, i raised my worries about his potty training (ie; the fact that he won't even entertain it without a screaming fit!) and she told me to chill out basically :rotfl:
She said he'll do it when he ready, and that the time to start worrying is when he's asking me to wipe his bum while opening a tin of lager while on the phone to his girlfriend :rotfl:0 -
If you have another old towel, you could always look up the alternate loo roll thread, for number 1's of course;)0

How would he react if you were to take him to pick out some big boy pants, hide his nappies for a few hours and just casually leave the potty out but not to draw attenion to it?
Just make sure you have a spray bottle of star/water and vinigar to mop up puddles with, it great at removing wee smells.0 -

Hi Beki or should i say m'lady (only joking)
Got your message will post saturday, just thought i have a bottle of kandoo handwash lurking in the cupboard will post that to you as well, can't stand the smell of it and my youngest has been dry for well over 12 months so won't use( refill carex bottles with cheap shower gel now), as for your son's potty training try not to stress too much about it he will get there, i'm a nursery assistant and boys do tend to take a little longer than girls generally, he will be potted trained before he starts school they always are.
Really love the address by the way.
Take care Miemie0 -
Another good thing for luches is spanish omelette - if you have plenty of eggs
Im starting to eat a more high prortein low carb diet again and eggs are often far too overlooked in the moneysavers recipe plans I thinkand even better for you if they are free! Youll find that high protein meals are more filling, so more filling- less needed- less moeny spent all round - this is certianly myt experience anyway! Also dont forget to freeze eggs, I whisk them a bit with a fork splash of milk, then Ive have them to rely on - good for whipping up some pancaskes, or for using in egg fried rice . Just make sure they are properly defrosted then whisk brielfy again before using as they sometimes go a bit gloopy from freezing.

x:beer: Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -
Blimey that's a huge amount of money for a very off season trip to Disneyland Paris. I'm not surprised everyone assumed it was Florida.
Sounds like it working out for you, as said you've got enough food there to feed a small army - it's probably a good opportunity to have a clear out of cupboards and freezer.Piglet
