Child tax credit for 16 year old

Im a bit confused regarding my current tax credit letter. It says my child tax credit will be paid up to 31 August as my daughter is 16.
However she is staying in full time education and has applied for EMA.
Will the child tax credits just stop . Am i supposed to let them know she is continuing in education?
I dont remember them ever asking me about this.

It will stop automatically. You need to be the one to tell them as they wouldn't know she was staying in education otherwise!!

You will need details of the college/school and the course(s) she is doing.

BTW, you also need to tell the child benefits office too or that will stop.

EMA, I understand, is paid directly into the students account weekly in arrears, term time only. And if they are not at college/school for any point in that week, or "forget" to hand the forms in, they don't get paid.
