Ok, I had an Account with Abbey. They then withdrew my OD at a months notice knowing full well I would not be able to pay it back.
I got my salary paid into my 'spare' current account and left the OD as it stood. I then wrote to them stating that I would not pay back the OD until they reimbursed my Bank Charges owing (about twice the OD).
They have now passed my OD to a Debt Recovery Company. Can they legally do this since my OD is in dispute?
