Has your child benefit stopped for your daughter too? I was pregnant at 15, had my son a month after my 16th birthday. My parents still got cb for me, right up until I gave birth. I was only on an abscence of 4 months from school and was going back after having my baby. It was back in the 80s though.

Good luck to you and your daughter.
  • Rather a contradictory statement, I'd've thought!
why! are mature intelligent people not allowed to have accidents or make mistakes. all i was saying was im sure she didnt get pregnant deliberately so that she could get social housing and live off benefits as some people seemed to be suggesting.

As she is not staying in FT education as of 1st sept they have stopped all my benefits for her so cb and tax credits have been reduced in total by 300 per month.
I can't see how you would get £300 per child when bringing in a full time wage, that kind of money I would think would be a lone parent on IS amount, that means that you are getting £1200 per month in benefits for the children as well as benefits for you husband and a full time wage ?

I'm starting to think this is a troll post.
